Conduct of studies to obtain marketing authorizations of new veterinary products for honey bees in the EU

The number of veterinary products (VMP) authorized for honey bees in the European Union (EU) is relatively small. Currently ~200 products in 27 EU countries are marketed, with the vast majority of products licensed for the control of Varroa destructor.
